Vallée alpine au coucher du soleil

A breath of fresh air, shared with people who understand you.

Mountain trips for the queer community, in the Alps and the Southern Alps. A breathing space away from everyday life.

    The Gay Packers philosophy

Gay Packers is, above all, a love of the mountains and wide open spaces that we want to share. It's for people who would rather not, or don't dare, travel alone: here, we set off together, in a reassuring space designed by and for LGBTQIA+ people. No sporting performance, no stopwatch, no summit to tick off. Just the joy of being outdoors and connecting with nature and with each other.

    Breathing

A suspended time away from screens and noise. Here, we slow down. We breathe. We reconnect with what matters.

    Human Connection

Share these moments with people who understand you. No social performance, just authenticity.

    Safe Space

A reassuring LGBTQIA+ space where respect and consent go without saying. You can be fully yourself.

    Trips shaped around you

In the Alps and the Southern Alps, from a few days to a week or more: every trip is built together, around what you feel like doing, like friends planning a getaway. No fixed catalogue: we start from what you want.

    1. 01

      A few days

A short break to catch your breath, over a long weekend.

    2. 02

      A week

Time to properly switch off and let the group find its rhythm.

    3. 03

      Longer, made to measure

A trip designed with you from start to finish, at the pace you choose.

Mountains to take in, not to conquer

No sporting performance here: mountain sports are a way to meet the mountains. For each discipline, we put you in touch with experts, so you are properly supervised and safe.

Nicolas, fondateur et coordinateur de Gay Packers

    Your coordinator & travel planner

    Nicolas

A former Parisian, I spent years working in events and the arts. What always let me breathe, though, were the mountains and wide open spaces.

Travelling taught me what nature does to people: it slows them down and brings them closer. I created Gay Packers to share that with those who would rather not, or don't dare, set off alone.

My role is to shape the trip with you, bring the right people together and set up a safe, caring space. The mountains take care of the rest.
