Who is Nicolas?
Before Gay Packers came Paris, events and the art world: years spent creating moments that bring people together. Alongside them ran an unwavering passion for the mountains and wide open spaces.
His travels taught him that people never connect better than outdoors, walking at the same pace and looking in the same direction. His way of travelling comes down to one word: connection, first with nature, then with each other.
Gay Packers brings both lives together: the hospitality and organisation of one, the love of summits of the other.
Why the mountains?
The mountains set their own pace. They make you slow down, breathe and look around. Far from the constant demands of everyday life, they offer the right setting to reconnect — with yourself and with others.
They are also an extraordinary playground, where every trail tells a story and every summit offers a new perspective. The beauty of alpine landscapes is never just a backdrop: it is at the heart of what we offer.
Why a queer space?
Nicolas's ambition is simple: to create spaces where everyone can be fully themselves, without having to explain. Being among people who share the same reality changes everything. No coming out to do all over again. No looks to decode.
Our trips are neither festivals nor activist spaces. They are breaks designed to let you breathe, surrounded by people who understand you, in a space that guarantees respect and kindness.
This is not a closed circle: it is a restorative space you leave stronger, more connected to yourself and to others.
